We are supposed to accept this piece of trash, let alone as a standard skill...but an elite ? Are you serious?

Compared with Ancestors Rage theres just no reason for this skill's elite status, Ancestor's Rage beats it at every turn and its a standard skill ?

Clamor of Souls (Elite):
Recharge time:12
Activation Time:1
Damage output: 122 (Conditional AoE, Based on surrounding allies)
Cost:10 (!)

Ancestor's Rage:
Recharge time:8
Activation Time: 1/4 (Actual damage has a 1 second delay)
Damage output: 137 (Unconditional AoE)
Cost:5

As you can see, theres no reason to waste your elite spot with this piece of junk when you have ancestors, also note ancestors (while outclassing Clamor's damage,recharge, AoE and cost) is a LOT more versatile as it can be used on other allies (such as melee !).

How i would fix Clamor:

10e, 1/4 cast, 20 recharge

Elite Spell. All foes within earshot of a spirit you control take 30...150 damage (armour ignoring), attacking foes are interrupted. (A Clamor is a howling wail, working with that theme wailing in gw usually refers to interrupting attacking foes).

Well, that's just my opinion..what do you other ritualists out there think ?

It really does need fixing... however there are alot of Elite's out there that need a good buff or at least need abit of tweeking. Anyway i agree here, goodwork

You're doing it wrong still... and thats @ level 16, but with 8 rits you should have plenty of healing anyway, I am only saying that you get a hit every time (with clamor and with 8 people casting its crazy and 1 person casting its not bad). ANYWAY... Ancestors rage isn't always going to hit effectively, but with Clamor you can hit 8 people for 122 damage every time... the skill doesn't need rebalancing imo.

Then make it an enchantment, or have it destroy the spirit or something.

As it is, clamor of souls is utter crap. Some kind of change would let channeling rits run something other than offering of spirit for once.

ZOMG better nerf [skill]flame burst[/skill] It's non elite and vastly outclasses clamor. Also, ancestor's rage IS always going to hit effectively. Clamor won't because of the wonky requirement of standing in a big ball.

EDIT PART TWO: Tenshi, the power is yours is actually pretty good in caster heavy parties.
